THE 100 CLUB
"The 100 Club" celebrates those players who have played 100 or more first class matches for Queensland. A permanent display of paintings of the 11 Queenslanders who have achieved this magnificent feat so far is on display in the Century Room, which is part of The Pavilion Wedding and Conference Centre at Allan Border Field.

Ken Mackay "Slasher" Mackay was of the State's finest allrounders and most admired characters. As a batsman, he matched a workmanlike technique with fearsome determination while with the ball, he was a disciplined medium pacer with a knack for breaking partnerships. He played 37 Tests, and captained Queensland on 30 occasions in a first class career that spanned 17 seasons. He was named in the Queensland Cricket Team Of The Century in 2000. Sam Trimble The third leading runs-scorer of all time for Queensland, "Slammin" Sam Trimble was a prolific opening bat who enjoyed a lengthy first class career. Widely regarded as one of the best players not to represent his country in Test cricket, he led Queensland in 39 matches and also captained an Australian Second XI. Trevor Hohns Trevor "Cracker" Hohns made his debut for Queensland as a teenage batsman in 1972-73 but later forged a name for himself as a leg-spinning allrounder. A late bloomer, he had a brief but important international career after achieving national selection in 1988-89, being a key contributor in the 1989 Ashes winning team. He captained Queensland on 14 occasions. Later served for more than a decade as the Chairman of the Australian selection panel. Statistics Career:1972-73 - 1990-91 |

Greg Ritchie A graceful timer of the ball with power to match, Greg Ritchie played for Queensland for over a decade, including 14 matches as captain. He played 30 Tests including tours to England, the West Indies, New Zealand, Pakistan and India. A stalwart of Queensland teams in the 80s, his ability to score quickly while maintaining a relaxed demeanour made him a pleasure to watch in full flight. Statistics Career:1980-81 - 1991-92 |

Carl Rackemann The second highest wicket-taker of all time for Queensland, Carl "Mocca" Rackemann took one of the most important catches in the State's history in the 1994-95 Shield Final to claim Queensland's first Shield title. A raw-boned fast bowler who could extract nasty lift off a length, Rackemann captained Queensland in nine matches and played 12 Tests and 52 One Day Internationals for Australia. Trevor Barsby An aggressive opening batsman whose trademark lofted drives helped deflate many an opening attack, Trevor "Tank" Barsby formed one half of a dynamic top order partnership with Matthew Hayden during the 1990s. An exceptional performer in his own right, Barsby brought up his 100th Sheffield Shield appearance in his final match for Queensland - the 1996-97 Shield Final won by Queensland in Perth. Stuart Law The most successful captain of the XXXX GOLD Queensland Bulls, he retired in 2004 after achieving records for the most runs (9920) and most caps (158) for Queensland. A supremely elegant batsman with timing, poise and power, he was a match-winner in either first class or one-day cricket. Jimmy Maher The current Queensland captain, Jimmy Maher is the all-time leading runs-scorer in Australian domestic one-day cricket and to the end of the 2005-06 season had produced 8575 first class runs for the Bulls to be fourth on the all-time runs-scorers list. Martin Love Now second on the all-time leading runs-scorers list behind Stuart Law with 9714 runs, the stylish right-hander has been a fixture at number three for Queensland since his debut as a teenager. The scorer of centuries in three Sheffield Shield or Pura Cup Finals, he was Queensland's leading runs-scorer in the 2005-06 summer. He has also captained the Bulls in 10 matches. Michael Kasprowicz The all-time leading wicket-taker for Queensland, Michael Kasprowicz has been the spearhead of Bulls pace attacks for more than a decade. Wade Seccombe Retired before the start of the 2004-05 season as Queensland's all-time leading wicket-keeper in first-class and domestic one-day cricket and holds a string of 'keeping records. An athletic gloveman, his durability and fighting spirit underpinned a score of successful campaigns for the Bulls. One of a handful of Australian 'keepers to take more than 500 first-class dismissals, he was a member of five Sheffield Shield / Pura Cup championship teams. Statistics Career: 1992-93 - 2004-05 |

Matthew Hayden Undeniably Queensland's greatest ever home-grown batsman, he ranks alongside Ian Healy as the State's best ever cricketer. His ability and longevity is reflected in the fact that he was able to play 103 Test matches, as well has a century of games for his State. A member of Queensland's pioneering 1994-95 Sheffield Shield winning side, he scored a century on debut and his 27 first class hundreds for the Bulls rank second only to Martin Love. ANDREW SYMONDS One of the most exciting cricketers ever to grace the Gabba, he was dangerous with the ball, murderous with the bat, and dynamite in the field. Man of the Match in the 2001-02 Sheffield Shield final, he played in six finals in total for three victories. Hit 14 first class centuries for his State helped him into the top 20 runscorers of all time for the Bulls, and also took 123 wickets. Statistics Career: 1994-95 - current
