There are significant discounts for cricket fans wanting to attend the historic summer of international cricket at the Gabba in 2012-13.

By becoming a member of the Australian Cricket Family – anyone can join and membership is free – not only do you qualify for priority access to tickets, but for big savings too.

Fans can save more than 20% on the cost of a platinum ticket* for the best seats in the house to any of the opening three days of the 1st Vodafone Test match between Australia and South Africa starting on 9 November.

Tickets can be secured for $70* instead of the $95 admission at the gate as Cricket Australia has introduced tiered pricing for the first time.

The discounts apply across all categories, with even the general reserve seats down to $25* compared to $35 at the gate.

There's also a $10 saving across all categories of seating for the Commonwealth Bank Series between Australia and Sri Lanka on 18 January, and $15 for the KFC T20 INTL against the West Indies on 13 February.

The big discounts apply to family tickets (2 adults, 2 children) as well.

Ticket prices for ACF members are also discounted compared to members of the general public who buy their tickets in advance of game day.

Tickets to international matches don't go on sale this year until October, with members of the Australian Cricket Family having priority access from 5-10 October.
