| THUNDER, LIGHTNING STRIKE AGAIN |
The Queensland Thunder have already opened a big lead in the race for the Australian Indoor Cricket Open Men’s Championship, while the women also are in a commanding position after Day 3. The Thunder have stormed to a 13-point lead at the top of the points table on the back of five big wins, while North Queensland have won three of their four games and can launch an assault on second place today. The Lightning won their only game yesterday and hold a slim lead in the women’s championship, although they have played one less game than closest pursuers NSW and Victoria. The Under 21 and Lord’s Taverners sides are also on top of the table as the Queensland dominance continued throughout Day 3. |
