September 2009 - CEO Graham Dixon explains the changes to Premier Grade cricket in-depth and evaluates its importance, while we preview the XXXX GOLD Grade season which begins tomorrow in this September edition of Between the Wickets. XXXX GOLD Bulls coach Trevor Barsby learnt plenty from his tour of England with the Australian Test team, we follow the Bulls to the Sunshine Coast, and feature a pictorial of the QAS squad's farm camp. Bulls young gun Nathan Reardon is on the rise, new chum Glen Batticciotto has a great pedigree, and Konica Minolta Fire star Jodie Fields (nee Purves) reflects on her player of year award we've got all the big reads in this month's edition of Between the Wickets. A Boxing Night KFC Twenty20 Big Bash clash at the Gabba, a Ford Ranger Cup match in Cairns and season-openers against Tasmania are features of the interstate cricket draw. A breakdown of the XXXX GOLD Bulls' games in each of the three major competitions, including the newly rebranded Sheffield Shield, are also featured in this bumper edition.
